Senior Project Planner
Senior Project Planner – Dublin – Data Centre We are currently partnering with a bespoke Fire, Security and IT Solutions design, installation and support provider operation on Major Construction and Mission Critical projects across Europe and Ireland. Due to continued success, they are seeking a Senior Project Planner to join them on Data Centre Projects in Dublin. Responsibilities * MEP Programme Development & Management Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes for complex MEP packages on large-scale data centre projects in Dublin, ensuring electrical and mechanical installation activities are logically sequenced and aligned with overall project milestones and commissioning targets. * Installation & Commissioning Sequencing Plan and coordinate critical MEP installation activities including containment, cable pulling, switchgear installation, pipework, plant installation, and integrated systems testing, ensuring programme alignment with phased commissioning and energisation strategies. * Progress Tracking & Programme Reporting Monitor site progress against the baseline schedule using planning software such as Primavera P6, producing detailed progress updates, lookaheads, and delay analysis reports for project leadership and client stakeholders. * MEP Interface Coordination Work closely with project managers, engineers, BIM teams, and subcontractors to coordinate interfaces between electrical, mechanical, and CSA works, ensuring programme alignment across multiple trades in a fast-paced data centre environment. * Schedule Risk & Recovery Planning Identify programme risks and constraints affecting MEP installation and commissioning activities, developing mitigation strategies and recovery programmes to protect key energisation, IST, and handover milestones. Requirements Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades’ background Must have 6+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Preferably Data Centres) Must be based within a commutable distance of Dublin Benefits €75,000 - €80,000 + Package
