Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager 📍 Location: Colchester (Head Office) 💰 Salary: £85,000 – £100,000 per annum 🚗 Benefits: Company car or car allowance 🌴 Holidays: 30 days including bank holidays 🏠 Working Pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home My client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their Colchester head office. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong background in flooring or tiling projects to take on a key leadership role within a growing and dynamic business. The Role: You will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from tender stage through to final account, ensuring profitability, cost control, and contractual compliance throughout. Key Responsibilities * Manage all commercial aspects of projects from tender to completion * Prepare, submit, and negotiate contracts, valuations, variations, and final accounts * Monitor budgets, costs, and overall project performance * Work closely with project teams and clients to ensure commercial efficiency and delivery * Provide strategic input on procurement and subcontractor management * Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities About You * Proven experience working on flooring or tiling projects * Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills * Confident in managing contracts and financial reporting * Excellent communication and leadership abilities * Able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business offering a competitive salary, strong benefits package, and a supportive working environment.
