Senior Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Construction Our client is a well-established regional construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across multiple sectors including education, commercial, heritage and leisure. Due to continued expansion, our client is now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team and support the delivery of construction projects across the region. The Role The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial team, managing project costs and ensuring financial control from procurement through to final account. Key Responsibilities Manage project costs from pre-construction through to completion • Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers • Preparation and management of subcontract packages • Cost reporting and forecasting • Valuations, variations and final accounts • Liaising with site teams and clients • Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed budgets Requirements Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction • Background working for a main contractor preferred • Strong commercial awareness and cost management ability • Excellent negotiation and communication skills • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management What’s on Offer • Competitive salary and benefits package • Opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects • Career progression within a well-established contractor • Supportive and collaborative team environment
