Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship £80m commercial refurbishment project in Aldgate. This is a major office redevelopment involving structural alterations, heavy refurbishment works, full building upgrades and significant M&E packages. This is a substantial, technically demanding scheme — not a small job. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will take full commercial ownership of the project and drive performance from pre-construction through to final account. Duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor * Full commercial management of the £80m commercial refurbishment * Preparation of valuations, variations and detailed cost reports * Procurement and management of subcontractor packages * Contract administration and negotiation * Management of change control and commercial risk * Close coordination with site and project management teams * Reporting on financial performance to senior leadership Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor * Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor / QS * Degree in Quantity Surveying essential * Background with Irish main contractors or Irish subcontractors preferred * Tier 1 background not required * Proven experience delivering large commercial refurbishment or major building projects * Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage large packages * Hard-working, driven individuals only What’s on Offer * £70,000–£100,000 DOE * Travel allowance + strong overall package * High-profile £80m commercial refurbishment project in London * Genuine long-term opportunity with a growing contractor
