Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major civils project. This transformative project involves significant highways and civil engineering works, including: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for key work packages across highways, bridges, civils, and utilities. You will play a critical role in contract administration, cost management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring robust commercial control throughout the lifecycle of the project. * Full commercial management of NEC contract * Administration of Early Warning Notices and Compensation Event * Cost forecasting, reporting, and risk management * Subcontract procurement and management * Change control and value engineering * Liaising with operational teams, planners, and project manager * Ensuring commercial compliance across all project phases Experience required * Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or a Quantity Surveyor ready to step up (minimum 3 years’ experience) * Strong working knowledge and practical experience with NEC Contracts (essential) * Demonstrable experience in at least one of the following: Highways, Bridges, Civils or Utilities.
