Senior / Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) Location: Birmingham Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Contract: Full-time, Permanent Our client, a thriving and expanding construction consultancy, is seeking a talented and ambitious MRICS-qualified Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Birmingham team. In this role, you will confidently lead private sector projects, reporting directly to the Team Leader while playing a pivotal part in the team's success and expansion. Key Responsibilities * Actively network and drive business development to grow your contact base and client relationships. * Deliver high-quality cost consultancy services to generate revenue and exceed client expectations. * Meet and surpass agreed business targets in collaboration with your Line Manager. * Contribute directly to team turnover, profitability, and overall commercial performance. Candidate Requirements Essential * MRICS qualification (Chartered status). * At least 2–3 years' post-qualification experience. * Proven experience working in Birmingham or the West Midlands, with strong local market knowledge and understanding. * Solid track record of leading projects in the private sector. * Excellent interpersonal and business development skills, with an established personal network. ​​​​​Desirable * Previous experience in a consultancy environment. ​​​​​​​Personal Attributes * Enthusiastic about joining and helping shape a growing team, with clear ambition to take on leadership in the near future. * Highly motivated and driven to succeed. * A true team player who thrives on professional responsibility, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact.
