We are a Tier 1 supplier to major European manufacturers with an established contractor network, proven delivery capability, and over 13 years of sector expertise. We are now looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to help drive the next phase of our growth. The Opportunity This is a genuinely commercial role — not a purely delivery-focused desk. You will have real ownership of a defined market, working directly alongside the Director, with full visibility of the business and where it is going. The split is roughly 60% business development and 40% delivery. You will be expected to win new clients, not just service existing ones. In return, you will have a competitive base, an uncapped commission structure that rewards performance at every level, and a clear BD bonus for every new logo you bring in. Key Responsibilities * Identify and approach target clients across FMCG, food & beverage, consumer goods, and manufacturing * Generate new business through LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, and your own network * Manage and grow existing client relationships, understanding their contractor and project hiring needs * Run end-to-end contractor recruitment across SAP, Data & Analytics, and Digital Supply Chain disciplines * Build and maintain a pipeline of specialist contractors across ECM's core technology areas * Contribute to ECM's growth strategy and market positioning * Work autonomously to hit monthly billing targets and annual GP goals What We Are Looking For * Minimum 3–5 years in contract or contingent recruitment with a genuine BD track record * Clients you have won from scratch — not just inherited or serviced * Experience in SAP, technology, or supply chain recruitment strongly preferred * Sector knowledge across FMCG, manufacturing, or pharma a significant advantage * Comfortable operating in a boutique environment with autonomy and commercial ownership * Articulate, commercially sharp, and motivated by building something with long-term upside * Confident on the phone, strong on LinkedIn, and disciplined in outreach Commission Structure Our commission scheme is uncapped and tiered — the more you bill, the higher your rate across the board: Monthly GP Billed Commission Rate * £0–£10,000 — 10% * £10,000–£20,000 — 15% * £20,000–£27,500 — 20% * £27,500–£35,000 — 25% * Over £35,000 — 30% Bonus Scheme * New Business Development Bonus: £750 per new client that places a contractor, paid on first invoice received * Annual Performance Bonus (Year 1 target: £250,000 GP): * Hit £250,000 GP — earn an additional 5% of total yearly GP (£12,500) * Exceed target by 20% or more (£300,000+ GP) — bonus rate increases to 7.5% of total yearly GP Why ECM Talent * Tier 1 supplier status with major European FMCG and manufacturing businesses * Established contractor network and real proof points to take to market * Work directly with the Director — no layers, no politics * Genuine autonomy and commercial ownership of your market * Clear growth path — leadership and partnership conversations are on the table for the right person * A business that is growing and needs someone to help shape what comes next
