Senior Site Manager

Job Title: Senior Site Manager Location: Bath and surrounding areas Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead and deliver construction projects ranging from £1m to £6m across new build and refurbishment schemes in and around Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated construction professional with a strong track record of managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities * Full responsibility for site operations on projects valued between £1m–£6m * Managing new build and refurbishment schemes across commercial, education, and mixed-use sectors * Programming and sequencing works in line with project timelines * Managing subcontractors and direct labour on site * Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies * Monitoring budgets, cost control, and reporting progress to senior management * Maintaining quality control and ensuring works meet specification and design requirements * Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery * Leading site meetings and providing clear communication across project teams Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager on projects £1m–£6m * Strong background in both new build and refurbishment projects * SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold Card), and First Aid qualified * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * Strong commercial awareness * Ability to drive programme and maintain high-quality standards * Experience working in live environments (desirable) What We Offer * Competitive salary * Company car or car allowance * Pension scheme * Ongoing professional development * Opportunity to work on high-quality projects in the Bath region About You You are a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives on delivering successful projects.
