They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to take a key role in the successful delivery of a major residential development.
This is an excellent opportunity for an established Senior Site Manager with a strong residential background who is looking to join a well respected developer with a healthy pipeline of future work and genuine opportunities for progression.
The Role of Senior Site Manager
Working closely with the Project Manager and Construction Director, responsibilities will include:
* Taking day-to-day responsibility for the successful delivery of residential projects
* Managing projects from the early construction stages through to completion and handover
* Managing Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, direct operatives and subcontractors
* Driving the programme and ensuring key project milestones are achieved
* Maintaining high standards of quality throughout all stages of construction
* Managing health & safety and ensuring site standards are maintained
* Coordinating closely with commercial, technical and design teams
* Managing subcontractors and maintaining strong relationships with the supply chain
* Identifying potential programme and construction issues and resolving them effectively
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standard
To be successful as Senior Site Manager, you will need:
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within residential construction
* A strong track record of delivering major residential developments
* Experience working for a residential developer, housebuilder or main contractor
* Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and build programmes
* Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills
* A strong eye for quality and attention to detail
* The ability to take ownership and drive the day-to-day delivery of a project
* Ambition to progress further within construction management
