Job Title: Senior Technical Delivery Manager – Data & Analytics Location: Norwich (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Contract: 6 Months (Contract) Rate: £(Apply online only)/day (Inside IR35) Industry: Insurance / Financial Services Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Delivery Manager to lead large-scale Data & Analytics transformation programmes within the insurance sector. This role is ideal for a delivery leader who can translate strategic business objectives into executable technology programmes while managing complex multi-vendor ecosystems. You will lead cross-functional teams delivering capabilities across Master Data Management (MDM), data integration, data engineering platforms, and analytics solutions, ensuring strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence. This is a high-visibility leadership role requiring strong engagement with executive stakeholders and the ability to drive delivery in regulated enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Programme Delivery & Governance * Lead end-to-end delivery of large, multi-workstream Data & Analytics programmes. * Establish and run programme governance frameworks, including steering committees, design authorities, and risk boards. * Manage delivery plans, budgets, risks, scope, and change control. * Drive alignment between business strategy and technical execution. Stakeholder & Vendor Management * Engage C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders across business and technology teams. * Lead executive steering group meetings and present programme progress, risks, and trade-offs. * Govern multi-vendor delivery environments including system integrators, platform vendors, and data providers. Technical Delivery Oversight Guide delivery across the following areas: Master Data Management * Customer 360 platforms (e.g., Reltio, Informatica, Semarchy) * Data matching, survivorship, stewardship and integrations Data Integration * APIs and event-driven architecture * Streaming and batch ingestion * Change Data Capture (CDC) Data Engineering Platforms * Data lake/lakehouse platforms * ETL/ELT pipelines * Orchestration tools (Airflow/MWAA) Analytics & Discovery * BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau) * ML feature pipelines * Self-service data products Operational Excellence * Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations (GDPR). * Establish platform observability, lineage, and data quality SLAs. * Drive platform cost optimisation and operational performance. Leadership & Ways of Working * Lead cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, MDM specialists, and analysts. * Drive Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). * Mentor delivery leads and promote a culture of ownership and quality. Required Experience * 12+ years experience delivering enterprise-scale Data & Analytics programmes. * Technical delivery background across: MDM / Customer 360, Data integration (APIs, streaming, CDC), Data engineering platforms, BI & analytics ecosystems. * Experience working within the insurance domain including: Policy administration, Claims, Underwriting, Pricing/Actuarial, Fraud or regulatory reporting. Working Model Hybrid working with 3 days onsite in Norwich and flexibility for remote collaboration
