Senior Town Planner
The Bedford team is working on a strong pipeline including residential schemes of all scales, affordable housing, local plan promotion, enforcement appeals, care and retirement living developments, grey belt sites and change of use projects. You will also collaborate with internal teams across urban design, transport, sustainability and environmental disciplines.
Senior Town Planner Position Overview
Providing commercial planning advice to a diverse client base
Preparing high-quality planning reports, statements and submissions
Managing and coordinating technical consultants
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Engaging with local planning authorities and key stakeholders
Representing client interests throughout the planning process
Leading smaller projects and supporting wider team deliverySenior Town Planner Position Requirements
Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience
Strong understanding of the UK planning system
Experience across a wide range of planning applications
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projectsSenior Town Planner Position Remuneration
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
