Service Controller (Part Time)

Salary £30,000 FTE (£18,000 pro rata, 3 days per week) We’re working with a well-established business within the plant and equipment sector, looking to appoint an experienced Service Controller to support their busy service operation on a part-time basis. This is a key role within the depot, coordinating engineers, managing workloads, and ensuring a high level of service delivery to customers. The Role * Planning and scheduling engineers for service, maintenance and breakdowns * Acting as the main point of contact for customers and internal teams * Managing job progress from initial call through to completion * Ensuring all service records and documentation are completed accurately * Liaising with parts, workshop and field teams to keep jobs moving efficiently * Supporting the wider service team with day-to-day operational coordination What We’re Looking For * Previous experience in a Service Controller or similar role is essential * Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload * Confident communicator, both over the phone and via email * Experience within plant, construction, hire or a related sector would be highly advantageous * A proactive, can-do approach with strong attention to detail What’s on Offer * £30,000 FTE (£18,000 pro rata for 3 days) * 4x death in service * Private medical cover * Dental cover * Auto enrolment pension * Eyecare vouchers * Stable, supportive working environment within a well-regarded business
