We are working with a highly respected engineering organisation operating within a specialised, technically advanced sector. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of complex engineering systems at customer sites across the UK (and occasionally overseas). This is a hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding skills, technical expertise, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, commissioning and servicing of engineered systems and equipment
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs both on-site and remotely
Supporting customers with technical queries and ensuring high service standards
Producing clear service reports and documentation
Collaborating with internal engineering and support teams
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with safety and regulatory standardsAbout You
Background in electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering
Previous experience in a field service or mobile engineering role
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently and travelling to customer sites
Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer interaction
Full UK driving licenceDesirable
Experience working within highly regulated or safety-critical environments
Understanding of complex systems or technical equipment
Ability to obtain security clearance (if required)What's on Offer
