My client is a well-established engineering business operating across the UK, providing specialist maintenance and support on access equipment. They are currently looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their growing team, working across a variety of environments including commercial, industrial and residential sites.
The Role - Service Engineer:
Servicing and repairing platform lifts and access equipment
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
Responding to reactive breakdowns across your patch
Working across commercial, industrial, and residential environments
Daily interaction with customers and end users
Completing job documentation accurately using handheld devices
Working independently with minimal supervision Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Service Engineer:
Experience working as a Service Engineer / Lift Engineer / Platform Lift Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Field Service Engineer
Strong electro-mechanical background
Experience carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance
Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
Experience working on access equipment, lifts, or similar systems
Professional and customer-focused approach
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently The Package - Service Engineer:
25-30 days holiday + bank holidays
