Service Project Manager
As their customer base continues to grow, they’re looking to bring in a service PM to take ownership of customer support, field assetsand technical delivery across their systems.
What will you be doing?
• Acting as the primary point of contact for customer technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimise downtime
• Taking ownership of the RMA process, ensuring faults, returns and repairs are managed efficiently and reported accurately
• Maintaining demo systems and radar sites, ensuring high availability for demonstrations and training
• Supporting and delivering customer training sessions, ensuring users can operate systems effectively
• Working closely with engineering, production and sales teams to resolve issues and improve overall system performance
• Supporting pre-sales and post-sales technical activities, including demonstrations and field deployments
• Monitoring support performance against SLAs, ensuring response times and customer expectations are consistently met
• Contributing to continuous improvement of support processes, tools and reporting
What are they looking for?
• Experience supporting complex technical systems, ideally within radar, RF, surveillance or security technologies
• Strong fault-finding skills across hardware, software and integrated systems
• Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role, able to communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders
• Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution
• Comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
• Organised and structured approach to managing workload, priorities and processes
• Degree in Engineering, Physics or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
Nice to have
• Experience working with radar or electronic scanning systems
• Background in defence, security or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience delivering technical training or customer demonstrations
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as OFCOM licensing or regulated environments
• IOSH or similar safety qualification, or willingness to obtain
