A leading civil engineering and construction contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Europe are currently seeking a Setting out Engineer to join their team on a large-scale project in Frankfurt and Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out accurate setting out and surveying activities using Total Station, GPS, and other survey equipment.
* Provide technical support to site management and construction teams throughout all phases of the project.
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with design drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
* Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Monitor and record site progress, ensuring activities remain aligned with project programmes and milestones.
* Conduct quality inspections and maintain detailed site records, reports, and as-built information.
* Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and the wider project team.
* Identify and assist in resolving engineering and construction-related issues on site.
* Support planning activities and contribute to the efficient delivery of daily construction operations.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
* Assist with material inspections, measurements, and quantity verification where required.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 4 years' experience working as a Site Engineer on heavy civil engineering, infrastructure, or large-scale construction projects.
* Experience carrying out setting out and surveying activities on active construction sites.
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
* Proficient in the use of Total Stations, GPS equipment, and surveying software.
* Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Competent with Microsoft Office and standard engineering software packages.
* Full EU Passport required.
