Setting Out Engineer Wiltshire Permanent £45,000 – £60,000 (DOE) I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a major commercial buildings project in Wiltshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term work on a high-profile scheme with a strong pipeline of future projects across the region. The Role Working on a large-scale commercial development, you will be responsible for the accurate setting out and surveying of civil engineering works including: * Groundworks and foundations * Drainage and infrastructure * External works and associated civils * Reinforced concrete elements You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered to specification, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Setting out using total stations and GPS equipment * Checking plans, drawings and quantities * Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications * Liaising with site management and subcontractors * As-built surveys and QA documentation * Supporting project delivery teams with technical expertise About You I’m looking to speak with candidates who have: * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects * Commercial building / groundworks experience * Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations and infrastructure works * Proficiency with Leica / Trimble equipment * A valid CSCS card * Full UK driving licence A relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) would be advantageous.
