Location: Langley, Slough
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum, plus company pension and statutory holiday entitlement.
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday + Overtime available
Marmon Lift Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a busy workshop in Langley, Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ductwork fabricator with a strong background in sheet metal manufacturing to join an established team, producing high-quality ductwork for commercial ventilation and air conditioning projects.
The successful candidate will have previous hands-on experience manufacturing ductwork and be confident working independently, interpreting fabrication drawings and producing work to a high standard. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so previous ductwork manufacturing experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities - Sheet Metal Fabricator
*
Manufacture rectangular and bespoke sheet metal ductwork.
*
Fabricate galvanised and fire-rated ductwork.
*
Read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings.
*
Operate workshop machinery and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
*
Manufacture and assemble ductwork, fittings, bends, transitions and other components.
*
Maintain high standards of workmanship, accuracy and productivity.
*
Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards.
*
Work independently and as part of a small, dedicated workshop team.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience in ductwork fabrication or manufacturing – ESSENTIAL.
*
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques – ESSENTIAL.
*
Experience manufacturing rectangular and bespoke ductwork.
*
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
*
Confident operating workshop machinery and fabrication equipment.
*
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
*
Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing quality work.
*
A hands-on approach with a strong focus on productivity and attention to detail.
