Sheq Advisor
Currently seeking an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support a growing portfolio of infrastructure and construction projects across Wales & South West England. The business delivers high quality projects across sectors including infrastructure, utilities, roadworks and public realm. The Role Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across multiple live sites. This is a hands on position requiring regular site visits and close collaboration with operational teams. Key Responsibilities * Provide proactive SHEQ support and guidance to site management teams * Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews * Ensure adherence to company policies and UK HSE legislation * Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions * Assist in the development and review of RAMS * Promote a positive safety culture across all levels of the business * Monitor environmental performance and quality standards in line with ISO accreditations * Deliver toolbox talks and internal training where required Candidate Requirements * Previous experience in a SHEQ Advisor role within civil engineering or construction * Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation * NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essential * Experience working across multiple sites * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Competitive salary and benefits package * Company vehicle or car allowance * Opportunity to join a growing and reputable contractor * Long term career development within a supportive environment
