Freelance SHEQ Consultant – 6–12 Month Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance SHEQ Consultant to support a 6–12 month project within a mission-critical, high-availability technical environment. Scope of Work: * Review and assess an existing gap analysis * Develop, update, and implement missing SHEQ policies and procedures * Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and industry best practice * Provide clear evidence of previous experience delivering similar consultancy assignments Requirements: * Proven experience in SHEQ consultancy, particularly policy and procedure development * Demonstrable experience conducting and responding to gap analyses * Previous experience working within critical infrastructure or highly regulated technical facilities (essential) * Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and compliance frameworks Qualifications: * NEBOSH Diploma (essential) * Chartered IOSH status (desirable but not essential) Day rate - Negotiable DOE (Outside IR35) This opportunity would suit a consultant experienced in supporting complex, operationally sensitive engineering environments where compliance and governance are critical
