Shift Engineer
PRS Recruitment Agency is currently seeking experienced Shift Engineers to work with our most prestigious client at Hatfield area Key Responsibilities: • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all M&E systems to maintain service levels and compliance. • Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of building services equipment, including lighting, power systems, HVAC plant, emergency lighting, fire alarms and related services. • Responding promptly to building alarms, emergencies, and operational issues during shifts. • Ensuring maintenance and repair activities are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures. • Recording all maintenance activity, inspections, and PPM tasks using electronic logbooks and CAFM/BMS where required. • Supporting compliance and statutory requirements through routine checks and logging. • Liaising with specialist subcontractors and the wider engineering team to coordinate works and ensure quality standards are met Requirements: Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or City and Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Desired) Experience of working with BMS systems Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Good communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Must be available to work day and night shifts This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company that values its employees To apply, please submit your CV along with a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
