Shift Engineer Multi Skilled

Job Title: Multi-skilled Shift Engineer – Plumbing bias Location: Horsham, Sussex Package: £42,500 Working Hours: 4 on 4 off, day & night shift (6.30 – 6.30) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join my client’s team, covering a commercial site in Horsham. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer or Plumber to be part of a dynamic and well-established company that values quality and customer satisfaction. This client is a market leader and dominates this particular sector within the industry of aviation. This role has scope to develop into a Mechanical Engineer and progress with on site training to become more diverse within building services. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on plumbing, heating and other mechanical associated systems. * Perform maintenance checks and tests on taps, sinks, basins, toilets, pipework, fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinklers and other compliance systems. * Carry out checks to building equipment and systems such as AHU/FCU’s, Motors, Pumps, LTHWS etc. * Support fabric maintenance including carpentry, paint work, drylining, plastering * Diagnose and resolve basic M&E faults quickly and efficiently. * Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations. Requirements: * Level 3 Qualification in Plumbing/Heating or Mechanical associated qualification * Proven experience in a similar building maintenance role. * Knowledge of commercial building systems * Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
