The Company you will be working with;

MTrec Recruitment are currently supporting our industry leading client on their search to appoint an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. If you have the required skills and experience, then please apply for an immediate response!

The Role you will be doing;

The successful candidate will report directly to the Maintenance Manager. A multi skilled role with a preferred electrical bias, with responsibility for reactive breakdown repair, PPM, installation, and maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant.

* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations while reporting safety and performance issues

* Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and deliver safety-critical maintenance tasks within specified timeframes

* Manage maintenance work order processes including raising defects, planning, scheduling, and recording reactive, proactive, and conditional-based maintenance

* Communicate all information thoroughly across all shifts and departments

* Oversee contractors during out-of-hours work to ensure compliance with work instructions, safe systems of work, risk assessments, and permit requirements

* Actively participate in safety reporting and continuous improvement initiatives

* Shifts (Apply online only)hrs,(Apply online only)hrs and (Apply online only)hrs Monday – Friday as well as additional hours to suit the needs of the business

About You;

* Must have a flexible can-do attitude with the ability to work with minimum supervision to suit production demands.

* Hold a relevant qualification NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, in an Engineering related discipline.

* Time served with an electrical bias.

* Experience of Plastics processing / Temperature control / Process equipment is preferred

* This position will involve additional hours as required to support the needs of the business.

* Knowledge of fault-finding diagnosis and repair of a wide range of production machinery.

* Minimum 3 years post held in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

* Counterbalance Forklift license advantageous but not essential
