Site Agent – Major Infrastructure (HS2) Location: Birmingham Sector: Civil Engineering / Major Infrastructure Salary: Competitive + Package Red Sky Personnel are working with an established infrastructure contractor who are seeking a Site Agent to support the delivery of major road and civil engineering works associated with HS2 in the Birmingham area. This position will involve overseeing the delivery of significant infrastructure packages including highways, earthworks, drainage and reinforced concrete structures within a large multi-disciplinary project environment. Key Responsibilities Manage site operations for road and infrastructure works within a major rail infrastructure programme Coordinate subcontractors and internal site teams to maintain programme delivery Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with project specifications and industry regulations Manage construction activities including earthworks, road construction, drainage and structural civils Liaise with project management, design teams and client representatives Oversee quality assurance, inspections and testing Manage RAMS, permits and construction documentation Provide progress reporting and contribute to programme management Experience Required Civil Engineering Degree (essential) Experience working as a Site Agent or Sub Agent on major infrastructure or highways projects Strong background in roads, highways, earthworks, drainage and reinforced concrete structures Experience working within large infrastructure programmes Knowledge of construction sequencing and programme delivery Strong leadership skills managing site teams and subcontractors Experience working in highly regulated construction environments
