Apply NowMy client are a specialist civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Agent to help deliver a tunnelling project in Grays, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous tunnelling and underground civils experience.
Site Agent Responsibilities:
* Managing day-to-day site operations
* Supervising subcontractors and site teams
* Managing tunnelling and underground works
* Toolbox talks
* Client and stakeholder liaison
* Health and safety compliance
* Managing RAMS, permits and temporary works
* Coordinating labour, plant and materials
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
* Monitoring quality and maintaining site records
* Reporting progress to the Project Manager
Site Agent Requirements:
* Black or Gold CSCS
* SMSTS
* Strong tunnelling experience is essential
* Previous experience managing underground civil engineering projects
* Experience with shafts, deep excavations or SCL would be advantageous
* Strong civil engineering background
* Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
* Good understanding of temporary works and RAMS
* Full UK driving licence
