Site Engineer – Thames Water Framework Central London | Permanent We are currently representing a well-established contractor delivering key packages across the Thames Water framework in Central London. They are looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of utility and water infrastructure works, including sewer upgrades, ducting, and tunnelling activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business trusted to deliver critical infrastructure within one of London’s most important water frameworks, involving technically complex and high-profile works in a busy urban environment. The Role As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient delivery of works on site, ensuring engineering activities are carried out accurately and in line with programme requirements. You will be involved in setting out, quality assurance, and working closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery across water-focused infrastructure packages. Key Responsibilities Setting out and surveying works in accordance with design drawings Supporting the day-to-day delivery of site operations Ensuring works are carried out in line with quality and safety standards Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams Assisting with QA, inspections, and documentation Monitoring progress against programme and reporting updates Resolving technical queries and liaising with the design team Requirements Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within heavy civils or infrastructure Experience on water, utilities, or civil engineering projects (sewers, ducting, or tunnelling preferred) Strong setting out and technical understanding Ability to work effectively within a site team on a busy project Essential Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline CSCS Card Desirable SMSTS Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) Why Apply Work on a major Thames Water framework in Central London Exposure to complex water and utility infrastructure projects Competitive package (Company Pension | Company Car/Allowance | Career Progression) Long-term, permanent opportunity with strong career progression If you’re interested, apply now.
