Site Engineer

Peace Recruitment are working with a civil engineering contractor who require a Site Engineer for a short term project in North East Scotland. The role will support works involving concrete repairs and construction of a reinforced concrete structure on an existing coastal asset. This position will suit an engineer who is comfortable with setting out, QA processes and maintaining accurate records of completed works. Responsibilities • Setting out works in accordance with drawings • Marking repair locations and recording completed works • Re measuring repairs and maintaining detailed records • QA inspections and site documentation • Supporting production of RAMS • Carrying out inductions, briefings and H&S checks Requirements • Strong setting out capability • Experience with concrete or structural works preferred • Comfortable with QA documentation and site records • CSCS card Project details • Start late March • Duration approximately 10-12 weeks • Shift pattern 12 day fortnight • Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm • Weekend work every second weekend • Accommodation available if required • Rates can be discussed For more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Cameron McKenzie at Peace Recruitment
