We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major 12-month construction project in Birmingham City Centre, working for an established subcontractor.
The successful candidate will have strong UK-based reinforced concrete (RC) frame experience and a proven track record working on major construction projects.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 4 years' UK construction experience as a Site Engineer
* Strong reinforced concrete (RC) frame experience is essential
* Experience working for a subcontractor is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of construction setting out and engineering principles
* Proficient with relevant surveying and setting-out equipment
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
* Strong understanding of QA, ITPs and site documentation
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with site teams and project management
* Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the project team with engineering and setting-out duties across the RC frame works, ensuring works are delivered accurately, safely and in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
This is a 12-month opportunity in Birmingham City Centre, with an October 2026 start.
