Site Engineer

Our client, is seeking a Site Engineer to join their project team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading main contractor delivering high-profile construction projects across the UK. The Role The Site Engineer will be responsible for setting out, quality control, and supporting the successful delivery of projects on site. The role will involve close collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and the wider site team to ensure works are completed safely, accurately, and to programme. Key Responsibilities Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications Ensuring all works are carried out to the required quality standards Liaising with subcontractors and coordinating site activities Maintaining accurate site records and documentation Assisting with health & safety compliance on site Supporting programme delivery and resolving technical issues Candidate Requirements Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction-related discipline Previous experience in a Site Engineer role within main contracting Proficient in setting out equipment (e.g., Total Station, GPS) Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications Excellent communication and problem-solving skills What’s on Offer Competitive salary (DOE) Car allowance or company vehicle Pension and benefits package Opportunity to work on major projects with a reputable contractor
