We’re supporting a contractor in Dunbar who urgently requires a Freelance Civil Engineer to assist with linear HV cable works, including duct installation, roads, drainage and associated civils.
The Role
Surveying and setting out across a linear route
Installing ducts, roads, drainage and general civils
Using GPS equipment confidently
Maintaining accurate records, quality checks and documentation (iPad-based uploads)
CAD and Civils 3D experience preferred
What They’re Looking For
Experience on linear projects (cable routes, pipelines, utilities, highways etc.)
Strong setting out and surveying background
Good with GPS, QA and digital record keeping
Ideally local
