Apply NowOur client, a tier 2 contractor in the water industry, is currently seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join their dynamic team in Guildford. This role offers the opportunity to work on significant water infrastructure projects on a long-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards
Coordinating and supervising blue-collar workers
Working closely with the project management team to ensure timely project delivery
Conducting site surveys and assessments to provide accurate progress reports
Implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols on site
Collaborating with stakeholders to address and resolve site-related issues
Ensuring quality control and compliance with engineering plans and specifications
Job Requirements:
Experience in the water sector and a strong background in civil engineering
Possession of a Thames Water passport
Proficiency in managing and supervising blue-collar workforce
Understanding of water infrastructure projects
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as necessary
