Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major bridges package on the High Speed 2 (HS2) in Northampton. This is a 12-month contract opportunity offering competitive day rates between £300 – £350, depending on experience, with an immediate start available. The Role: You will be responsible for setting out and surveying works on a large-scale bridges scheme, ensuring works are delivered accurately and in line with programme and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for bridge structures and associated infrastructure * QA checks and as-built surveys * Working closely with site management and subcontractors * Ensuring works are completed to design tolerances * Maintaining accurate site records Requirements: * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer on highways, rail, or major infrastructure projects * Previous bridge experience essential * Experience working on large-scale civil engineering schemes * Competent with Leica or Trimble equipment * CSCS card (essential) What’s On Offer: * 12 months secured work * £300 – £350 per day * Major infrastructure project experience * Immediate start If you are available and interested, please apply with your updated CV or contact us directly for more information
