Apply NowCarmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Staffordshire, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant highways project, supporting site operations during a critical phase of the works.
Initially this position is working nights through September and October
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for highways works
Basic surveying activities
Site measurements and accurate record keeping
Holding and issuing permits, including:
Permit to Dig
Hot Works Permits
Scanning and identification of underground services
Supporting safe digging operations in line with project procedures
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
Requirements
Experience with:
Setting out
Surveying
Permit systems
Utility detection and service avoidance
Safe excavation practices
Qualifications:
EUSR 1 & 2
SSSTS
CSCS Card
Highways Passport preferred but not essential
