Apply NowCarmichael UK is working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Site / Setting Out Engineer for a project based in Aberystwyth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a live project, with an initial 12-week contract starting 6th April, and the potential for extension subject to further works being released.
The Role
As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and supporting the delivery of works on site, ensuring activities are carried out accurately and in line with project specifications and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out setting out and surveying activities on site
Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design drawings and specifications
Support site teams with daily engineering requirements
Maintain accurate site records and as-built information
Assist with quality control and ensure compliance with project standards
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and project teams
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site / Setting Out Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
PTS (Personal Track Safety) is highly desirable
Strong understanding of setting out and surveying techniques
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Good communication and organisational skills
Right to work in the UK
