We are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor delivering works on a large-scale infrastructure project in the South West.
They are looking to appoint a Site / Finishing Manager to act as the No.2 on site, supporting the Project Manager and taking ownership of key areas across a 25,000m² site.
The Role
* Act as No.2 / right hand to the Project Manager
* Oversee day-to-day site operations across a large live project
* Take ownership of finishing works and quality control
* Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to programme
* Drive site standards, HSEQ compliance, and productivity
* Coordinate trades, sequencing, and handover stages
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Finishing Manager
* Background in civils, groundworks, or large-scale construction projects
* Strong focus on quality, detail, and finishing stages
* Able to manage multiple work fronts across a large site
* Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking responsibility
This role suits someone who can take control of areas independently, keep pressure on subcontractors, and ensure works are completed to a high standard.
