Site Manager - Civils/Groundworks

We are currently working with a well established and growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Civils Site Manager to join their team. 📍 The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Projects will typically include: * Groundworks packages * Roads and infrastructure * Drainage and utilities * Commercial and residential developments 🔧 Key Responsibilities * Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and plant * Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and budget * Managing health & safety on site, including RAMS and site compliance * Coordinating with engineers, clients, and internal teams * Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship * Reporting progress to senior management 👷 What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils/groundworks * Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, and infrastructure projects * Ability to manage teams and drive programme delivery * Excellent knowledge of health & safety requirements * SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid preferred 💰 What’s on Offer * Competitive salary (DOE) + package * Long-term, secured pipeline of work * Opportunity to join a stable and well-respected contractor * Clear progression opportunities within the business
