Site Manager – Groundworks
Location: Snodland, Kent
Start: Immediate
Duration: 8 Months
CV Library are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a busy groundworks package on a project in Snodland, Kent.
This is an immediate start with approximately 8 months' work, managing a team of up to 15 operatives on site.
Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day management of a groundworks package.
* Supervising and coordinating up to 15 groundworkers and plant operatives.
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
* Liaising with the main contractor, subcontractors and site teams.
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and maintaining health & safety compliance.
* Managing labour, plant and materials efficiently.
* Completing site paperwork and reporting progress to the Contracts Manager.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on groundworks and civil engineering projects.
* Essential: Previous employment with a groundworks subcontractor.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple work fronts and maintain programme.
