Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out 📍 Birmingham 🕒 Full-time | Permanent Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial fit out projects in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high-quality fit out and refurbishment projects across sectors including office, retail, and commercial workspace. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities * Manage the day-to-day running of commercial fit out projects on site * Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site staff * Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures * Monitor site progress to ensure projects are delivered on programme and within budget * Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks, and progress reviews * Ensure high standards of quality control and finishing * Manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries * Liaise with Project Managers, clients, and design teams * Ensure projects are delivered to specification and ready for client handover Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit out or interior refurbishment projects * Experience delivering office, retail, or commercial interior fit outs * Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management, and health & safety regulations * Ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades on site * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * SMSTS certification (essential) * CSCS card and First Aid certification * Full UK driving licence Salary & Benefits * £50,000 – £65,000 depending on experience * Car allowance or company vehicle * Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial fit out projects * Career progression within a growing contractor Location Projects are primarily based in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands, with full-time site presence required.
