Site Manager

Location: On-site / Field-based Industry: Energy Efficiency & Renewables Company Vehicle Provided Our client is a well-established installation company with over 10 years’ experience in the industry. They specialise in a wide range of domestic energy efficiency and renewable solutions, including: Gas boiler replacements External wall insulation Underfloor insulation Loft insulation Cavity wall insulation Solar panels Air source heat pumps Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a highly experienced Site Manager to join their team in the West Midlands on a permanent basis.  Critical tasks / responsibilities: Oversee on-site retrofit installation works (e.g., insulation, heating systems, external wall insulation, renewables) across domestic properties. Manage site teams, subcontractors, daily operations, materials, and programme adherence while ensuring minimal disruption to residents. Enforce strict H&S compliance, quality checks, snagging, and handover; conduct toolbox talks and site inductions. Liaise with residents, project managers, and surveyors to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships. You will be working with tenants and private home owners. Experience 5–8+ years as a Site Manager or Supervisor in construction/retrofit, with recent experience in domestic energy efficiency or housing refurbishment projects. SMSTS/SSSTS certified; strong knowledge of retrofit standards (PAS 2030/2035), working at height, asbestos awareness, and resident-occupied sites. Proven ability to manage multiple sites safely and to programme in occupied homes
