Rate: Competitive Day Rate - 7.30am - 4.30pm
Project: Large Distribution Centre
Contractor: Tier 1 Main Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a major refurbishment project on a large distribution centre in Weybridge. Working on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, the successful candidate will oversee and coordinate several painting teams, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day site management of painting and decorating works.
* Managing multiple subcontractor painting teams.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and site procedures.
* Monitoring programme and productivity to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
* Maintaining quality control and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
* Coordinating with the client, contractors and other trades on site.
* Completing site records, RAMS reviews and permit processes where required.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects.
* Valid SMSTS certification.
* Valid CSCS Managers Card (Black Card).
* First Aid at Work certification.
* Strong health & safety knowledge.
* Experience managing subcontractors and finishing trades.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to start on 21st September and commit for the full 7-week duration
