Site Manager
Site Manager – Construction Cambridge Tier One Main Contractor | Site-Based Ridgeway & Co are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations on a major construction project in Cambridge. This role will ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards while coordinating subcontractors and site teams. Key Responsibilities • Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, drawings and specifications • Enforces site health & safety procedures and ensure HSE compliance • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings • Monitor quality control and ensure works meet required standards • Coordinate deliveries, logistics and site resources • Report progress to the Project Manager and maintain site records • Manage site inspections, snagging and handover processes • Maintain RAMS compliance and ensure safe systems of work are followed Requirements • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction projects • Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance • Experience managing subcontractors and site programmes • Ability to read drawings and coordinate site works effectively • Strong leadership and communication skills
