Site Manager / Senior Site Manager – New Build

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Senior Site Manager to join a new build project in Ellesmere Port.

This is a general construction role, so we’re looking for someone with a strong all-round background in managing new build projects, subcontractors and site teams from start through to completion.

The role

* Manage the day-to-day running of the site

* Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams

* Keep the project on programme and to a high standard

* Manage health & safety and site documentation

* Check quality and make sure works are completed right first time

* Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, subcontractors and client team

* Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates

* Manage short-term programmes and site logistics

* Deal with any issues on site and keep the project moving

Looking for

* Previous experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager

* Strong new build construction background

* Good knowledge of general building construction

* Confident managing subcontractors and site teams

* Strong H&S and quality awareness

* SMSTS

* CSCS

* First Aid

* Good communication and organisational skills
