Site Manager – Refurbishment (Public Sector) London £50,000 Basic + Car Allowance We are working with a well-established Main Contractor delivering refurbishment projects across London within the public sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects within live and secure environments. The Role * Managing refurbishment projects across public sector buildings * Working within live, operational environments * Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating trades on site * Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard * Managing H&S, RAMS, inductions and site documentation * Liaising with clients, consultants and the commercial team * Projects ranging from small works through to multi-million-pound schemes Project Types * Schools and education buildings * Healthcare and NHS facilities * Council buildings * Police and emergency service buildings * Other secure public sector environments Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Manager working for a Main Contractor * Strong refurbishment background (public sector preferred) * Experience working in live or occupied buildings * SMSTS * CSCS Card * First Aid * Strong understanding of H&S and compliance A clean criminal record is essential due to the nature of the projects and security clearance requirements.
