Location: Doncaster
Salary: from £55,000 to £65,000
We're looking for a hands-on Site Manager to lead daily operations at our composting facility. You'll ensure the site runs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental and health & safety standards.
What you'll do
Oversee compost production and site operations
Monitor temperatures, moisture, aeration, and material quality
Supervise and train staff, ensuring safe working practices
Manage odour control, pest control, and site inspections
Maintain accurate production, compliance, and performance records
Ensure all compost meets PAS100 quality standardsWhat we're looking for
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisation and record‑keeping
Understanding of PAS100 and Council tenders (advantageous)
IOSH/NEBOSH + WAMITAB/COTC qualifications
Flexible, safety‑focused, and comfortable with outdoor, hands-on workBenefits
