Job Title: Freelance Site Manager – Housing Development  Location: Durham Duration: Approx. 3 Weeks Start: 2nd of March Rate: Competitive Day Rate (DOE) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a live housing development in Durham for approximately three weeks. This is a short-term contract role covering site operations on a residential scheme, ensuring programme, quality, and H&S standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day management of a live housing site Coordinating trades and subcontractors Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme Maintaining high standards of health & safety Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks Liaising with Contracts Manager and client representatives Managing snagging and finishing works (if applicable) Requirements: Proven experience managing residential housing sites Valid SMSTS CSCS (Black or Gold preferred) First Aid at Work Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
