Site Manager – Build Yorkshire Start: April / May Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Car Allowance + Package My client, a well-established and reputable main contractor, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team delivering projects across the Yorkshire region. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Number 1 Site Manager who is comfortable running sites independently while reporting into a visiting Project Manager. THE ROLE You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and maintain strong communication with the wider project team. PROJECTS • Steel frame industrial units • Retail developments • Drive-thru units (e.g. coffee shops and quick service restaurants) • New build and refurbishment schemes Project values and durations vary, offering a good mix of fast-paced commercial builds and refurbishment projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Managing sites as the No.1 Site Manager • Coordinating subcontractors and site labour • Ensuring works are completed in line with programme and quality standards • Managing site health & safety and maintaining compliance • Liaising with the visiting Project Manager and wider project team • Monitoring progress and resolving on-site issues REQUIREMENTS • Proven experience as a Site Manager within a main contractor environment • Experience delivering industrial, retail, or commercial projects • Ability to run projects as the lead manager on site • Strong organisational and communication skills • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid PACKAGE • £50,000 – £55,000 salary • Car allowance (£375 per month) • Standard company benefits package Apply now with an up to date CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more info
