Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a water treatment project in Manchester. This is a key site leadership role working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering works within a live and regulated water environment. Site Manager Role & Responsibilities: * Managing day-to-day operations on a water treatment site * Supervising site teams, subcontractors, and direct labour * Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements * Leading health & safety on site and ensuring full compliance with HSEQ standards * Delivering daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions * Coordinating plant, materials, and workforce resources * Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Agents, and Engineers * Monitoring site progress and reporting on programme performance * Managing site documentation and quality records Site Manager Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on water or wastewater treatment projects * Strong background in civil engineering works within the utilities sector * SMSTS qualification * Valid CSCS card * First Aid at Work (preferred) * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Application: To apply for this Site Manager role in Manchester, please submit your up-to-date CV and a member of the team will be in touch
