Site Manager

Elvet Recruitment are assisting a regional housebuilder in the region in their search for an Site Manager. Ideally you will have experience with Timber Framed buildings Main Responsibilities * Help run a building site so homes are finished on time, to the right standard and in line with health and safety rules. * Carry out and support quality and safety checks in line with company and group standards. * Deal with outside organisations such as warranty providers, councils and utility companies to keep the build programme moving. * Keep site records up to date, including inductions, health and safety logs, timesheets, accident reports and quality checklists. * Make sure materials are ordered on time and stored correctly when they arrive on site. * Supervise site workers and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time, to the required quality and within budget. * Work closely with teams such as Sales and Customer Care to keep plot progress on track and deal with customer issues quickly. * Make sure everyone on site follows health, safety and environmental rules to reduce risks and accidents. Experience and Requirements * Experience working in the housebuilding or construction industry. * Knowledge of NHBC, LABC or Premier building standards. * A good understanding of health, safety and environmental rules. * A valid CSCS card. * SMSTS qualification is an advantage. * A full UK driving licence. * NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision is preferred, but training can be provided.
