Site Manager
A great opportunity for a Site Manager to join a team delivering multiple phases of civil engineering refurbishment schemes at Portsmouth Royal Navy base. This opportunity sits with a respected and growing contractor known for its collaborative culture and strong client relationships. The role As Site Manager (Civil Engineering), you will take overall responsibility for leading site-based teams on projects with values typically in the £4 - £8M. These schemes involve intensive dock refurbishment to allow for essential fleet upgrades. They involve a range of civil engineering schemes including RC and caisson replacement. You will take lead responsibility for co-ordinating all site-based activities through a largely self-delivery model ensuring safe and compliant delivery in this historic site. Key responsibilities Produce RAMS, inspect H&S standards, complete plant and material requisitions, oversee onsite Labour ensuring construction to specifications & drawings, co-ordinate temporary works, maintain site records and inspire an experienced site based team.
