Contract Scotland are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a leading construction business based in Elgin.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and hands-on professional to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the region.
The Role
Supervising projects from inception through to completion, you’ll demonstrate a strong commitment to Health & Safety while ensuring quality and best practice remain at the forefront of all site activities.
As Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day running of site operations
Supervising trades and ensuring all workmanship is completed to the highest standards
Leading, managing, and motivating site teams and subcontractors
Ensuring all site paperwork and documentation is maintained accurately and up to date
Promoting and enforcing all SHE principles, including Covid-safe requirements where applicable
Organising labour effectively and ensuring plant and machinery are utilised efficiently
Overseeing quality control and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a Site Manager role within the construction industry
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
